Writing Tip – Beware Of Switching Tenses

It happens to us all at some point.  We are writing a terrific scene in a soon to be best selling book, and upon the re-read of the perfect paragraph, we notice that either the whole thing or just a sentence was written in the WRONG TENSE.

Be certain that the present tense story (not thought necessarily) remains in the present and the past, the past.  Anything other than that is purely today’s confusion happening yesterday.
